Explanation:
I chose this quote because it encompasses my original reasoning for applying for the Independent Study and Mentorship program. My worst fear is to wake up one day, mid thirties, aimlessly passing my life away in a cubicle. I aspire to grow up and attain a career that will not only fuel my passion for exploring the globe, but leave me 100% satisfied that I am living my life to its fullest extent. I could not agree more with Nelson Mandela’s view that not taking risks in your life, such as taking ISM, is ultimately a waste in your abilities, contributions, and potential. You will never learn to fly, if you refuse to jump.
Mission Statement:
Through the Independent Study and Mentorship program my goal is to polish my abilities as a speaker, gain invaluable experience within the business realm, and discover my specific passion within International Business so that I will be able to diminish the odds standing between my current position and my optimal future. With the support of my mentor guiding me through my extensive research, I aim to create an admirable final product to demonstrate the fruits of my studious labor. By challenging myself to reach my fullest potential, and establishing integrity, efficiency, and discipline, I hope to inspire many people on my path to proving myself capable of becoming an international businesswoman.
